FRSC to reduce accidents with 6-day tyre monitoring exercise
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has embarked on a nationwide tyre monitoring and surveillance exercise.
According to the Head Media Relations and Strategy, Bisi Kazeem, this exercise is part of the FRSC Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi's desire to reduce tyre-related road traffic crashes.
This exercise, which began today (Monday, May 23, 2016), will focus on supervising free safety checks, ensuring interactive session with the Vulcanisers’ Associations, performing free safety check on all major routes, addressing tyre dealers, and organizing motor park rallies.
This six-day exercise will be carried out by 9 of the FRSC's topmost Management Staff and all Zonal Commanding Officers.
