The Eko Atlantic City is located in Lagos state and is expected to house 25 million people , with a $6 billion price tag.

Clinton Global Initiative ( CGI) describes it as, "an environmentally conscious city, built with nature to restore an original coastline and to protect Victoria Island , Lagos, from the severe risk of ocean surge and flooding."
