The controversial politician made a show of his purchase by presenting evidence on social media.

“I will now use as my official car. I paid for the cars with my personal funds not government money,” he wrote on Twitter.

He was supported by the Chairman of  Innoson Motors, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, who made the delivery.

Last year, the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, also pledged to use only made-in-Nigeria vehicles.

Coincidentally, Innoson Motors and undefinedhave been listed as the minister's preferred companies.
