French watch company designs aircraft-inspired concept car [PHOTO]

Bell & Ross, a luxury French watch company, has designed a stunning car called the Aero GT Concept.

Bell & Ross is a pretty known name in the watch world.

However, it was unknown in the car manufacturing world, until now.

Carbuzz reports that this aircraft-inspired concept car stole the show at the Baselworld timepiece exhibition in Switzerland.

Bruno Belamich, the creative director, says:

"Every year, in order to create new models, I need new sources of inspiration.

Following the success of our B-Rocket motorbike in 2014, I wanted to go even further and design the Bell & Ross car. The aim was to produce a car that can ‘hold its own’, even amongst automotive professionals. But above all, this real challenge was a great joy.

It is doubtful that this beautiful half aircraft, half automobile concept will make it to production.

However, computer-generated photos show a twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8 engine, and an eight-speed double-clutch transmission.

If produced, it is expected to get to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 196 mph.
