Traffic officials set to commence eye test for offenders
Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has announced plans to introduce eye tests for traffic offenders.
The commander made this revelation at the opening of visual activity test training in Abeokuta for members of the Corps, where he was represented by the Director of Traffic Training and Public Education, Olusola Bamidele.
Ogunyemi said the training was a result of a collaboration between the Corps and Ophthalmologist Society of Nigeria, Ogun State branch.
An Ophthalmologist from the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Oladapo Awodein, said the training would identify traffic offenders with eye problems.
