State government set to spend N100 million on damaged buildings

Borno state government has kept aside N100 million on damaged structures.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this announcement was made by the governor, Kashim Shettima, on Tuesday, February 9th.

During a sympathy visit to the affected communities, where suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked, Shettima promised to rebuild damaged buildings.

After expressing sadness over the attacks, he promised to increase security.

Governor Shettima went on to inspect the renovation of Government Secondary School, Auno, Junior Secondary School, Benesheikh, and the reconstruction work going on in Kaga Local Government Area.

Last year, Borno state government also provided housing estates for internally displaced people.

Housing estates were also built for workers.
