According to Daily Mail, the couple bought the property in 2013 for $2.4M, after house hunting, for a while.

On the why he bought this particular place, Legend said they both liked the loft's dark, moody atmosphere.

“We tend to look for the opposite of what most people want,” he said.

He was supported by Teigen, who said, "I absolutely love this. I’d rather have a wall than a view of the Empire State Building.”

The one-bedroom, located on the border of Little Italy and NoLIta, has a walk-in closet, cast-iron tub, brass fixtures, and an open kitchen, with a lot of brass and bronze elements.

Daily Mail reports that the property, which was featured in the January, 2015 edition of the Architectural Digest, has been sold for $4.5M.

The couple have relocated to Rihanna's old home in Beverly Hill, sold for $14.1M.
