Ford has made a major investment in new driver assist features.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ford, Mark Fields, revealed that the company intends to do more in this sector.

Speaking at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, he described the new traffic jam assist as an autopilot.

This autopilot uses the adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist to provide a few seconds of no-hands driving.

The second feature helps the driver shift, brake, and steer into a spot.

Last month, Volkswagen unveiled a new feature called 'Trailer Assist'.

Just like Ford's new features, this assists the driver by making it easy to move trailers around.
