Jigawa state sector advises against under-aged driving
On Wednesday, the command’s spokesperson, Mr Zayyanu Ibrahim, advised parents not to allow their under-aged children drive.
On Wednesday, the command’s spokesperson, Mr Zayyanu Ibrahim, gave this word of advice because of all the dangers under-aged children can get into before, during and after Sallah festivities.
He added that this plea was necessary in order to reduce the rate of accidents usually recorded during festive periods.
Ibrahim told parents that if their under-aged children were caught behind the wheel breaking traffic laws, they would be severely punished.
Jigawa is not the only state that is interested in getting citizens to obey traffic rules and regulations.
