Aliko Dangote Billionaire spends N4.2bn on philanthropy in Kano

Billionaire, Aliko Dangote has spent about N4.2 billion on philanthropic projects in Kano State, an official of the Dangote Foundation has said.

According to the foundation’s CEO, Zouera Youssoufou, N1.2 billion was spent on an annual feeding project which was arranged by the organization to reduce hunger in the state.

Youssoufou revealed this during a recent meeting with state governor, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso.

She also said that the Foundation’s Micro-Grant programme for women empowerment had gulped about N880 million while the Animal Traction Programme had cost N160 million.
