Tauzin further said that the new development was a way to meet its customers’ needs, improve services in the Nigerian routes and also a way of thanking them for their continuous patronage.

The dinner had over 150 guests in attendance, guests including Chief Jonathan Olopade who is one of the airline’s pioneer customers in Nigeria.

“From March 27, 2016, we will be having the Boeing 777-200 on KLM’s Lagos-Amsterdam route. This aircraft is fitted with the new KLM cabins, full-flat seats in the World Business Class and extra legroom in the economy class. This means more comfort for our customers irrespective of the class they fly in. A new in-flight entertainment system is also available in the two cabins.

We will operate the Airbus 340-300 from March 27, till May 4, then the Boeing 777-200 for five months before having the A340-300 back again in October. Both aircrafts are spacious, offering more legroom and overall comfort,” he said.

During his speech he thanked customers for their continued patronage and support for both Air France and KLM, through good and bad times.
