Raggamuffin also known as ragga is used to describe shabbily dressed street kids living in the ghetto. These group of folks then used this to describe the type of music - reggae music that involves rap and dancehall combined in a song, which they were practising. The brand of music has been recognised since the mid 1980s spanning to the early 1990s.
