Clay's new jam borders on a theme of individual uniqueness aptly described in a part of the song chorus.

Alternative rock artiste and guitarist, Clay has premiered a blazing hot tune Ochukwu, a teaser of soon to be released EP, "Road Less Travelled".

This follows 'Cheap happiness', a high spirited song inspiring her listeners to temporarily take their foot off the pedal of struggle.

A fusion of English and her Igbo mother tongue, the new jam 'Ochukwu' serves up themes of self value and individual uniqueness aptly described in a part of the chorus, "I am not nobody, I am more than this body, I am no photo copy."

Clay, who is already becoming a dominant figure in the now populated Nigerian rock genre has headlined a bunch of musical concerts in recent times.

This box of talent is quite the barrier breaker having gained acceptance among music heads who are not necessarily followers of Naija rock.

A privilege that seems far from the grasp of her peers.

The 'Ogadisinma' songstress once had the opportunity to perform with top Nigerian artistes such as Praiz, Simi, Eva at the second edition of theShe Rocks Concertheld in September 2016 at the Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos.

She has made clear her determination to elevate the status of the Nigerian rock music genre to a high point of rivalry with other established categories.

That may seem like an herculean task in view of fans' preference for popular music, but with her band, Clay and the Misfits leading the charge, it just might seem like a stroll in the park.
