Singer gives away $1500 to lucky fan

Fifumi, a 200L student of Unilag, Mechanical Engineering, was the lucky winner as Mr 2kay rewards his fans.

Fast-rising singer, Mr 2kay has rewarded a lucky fan with the sum of $1,500 after he emerged winner of his ‘Bad Girl Special’ Instagram competition.

Following the growing success of Mr. 2kay's present hit single 'Bad Girl Special' featuring Patoranking, the singer had decided to give back to his fans who have been supporting the track and launched a #Mr2kayBGSContest on Instagram.

Fifumi, a 200L student of Unilag, Mechanical Engineering, was the lucky winner at th handover which took place at the Sailor’s Lounge, Lekki, Lagos. The young man, who is also a budding entrepreneur couldn’t contain his excitement, as he spoke to Pulse.ng.

“I feel happy, you know, it’s not just easy, and the money is quite large. I started business about last year, arts, photography, web designing and others. I will basically just throw the money into it, nd let it grow”. Fifumi stated.

“The song is quite nice, and I like it. So when I heard that there was a competition, I just knew I had to be on it. And surprisingly, I won.”

Mr. 2kay who rose to has hits like ' and'Waterside Boy' is also gearing up to release the mega remix of his smash "Bad Girl Special" which features undisclosed top female acts to keep fans and music followers guessing. The singer tells Pulse about his move to give back to fans.

“Basically, it’s just appreciating people for actually liking my work. I just had to give back to people that gave so much to me – their love and time”. Mr 2kay said.

“The song BDS is one of my biggest tunes yet, and it felt good giving to a young man, and this January 2015, so it’s going to go a long way for him.”
