Filming has started for "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," and Vin Diesel has shared more photos from set.

He took to his Facebook page to share new photos with the caption;

"The Director, producers and myself sitting in wonder as we take in the artistry of the many craftsmen that have built these amazing sets. You can tell the first day what level of crew you will be working with and it is clear that XxX has the very best. Grateful for the opportunity to make magic… The years of development, the months of preproduction… And here we are at the beginning of production.”

The original "xXx" which was released in 2002, was a box office success. The film starred Diesel as Xander Cage, a former extreme sports athlete, notorious for his death-defying public stunts.

Betting he can succeed where other conventional spies have failed, Xander is recruited by NSA Agent Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) to become a different kind of undercover agent.

"Vampire Diaries" star, Nina Dobrev and 'Orange is the New Black" star, Ruby Rose, recently joined a cast that includes undefined Vin Diesel and Samuel L Jackson.
