Check out Queen Latifah, Uzo Aduba, and Common in character for the upcoming NBC's TV special "The Wiz Live!" Watch trailer.

NBC is set to present "The Wiz Live," a live three-hour production of the 1974 musical based on "," on December 3, 2015.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, the public can have their first look at Uzo Aduba, Queen Latifah, and Common in character for upcoming TV special.

The special stars Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Mary J. Blige as the Wicked Witch of the West, Evillene, Common as The Bouncer, Neyo as The Tin Man, Uzo Aduba as Galinda, Shanice Williams as Dorothy.

The cast also features David Alan Grier, Elijah Kelley, Stephanie Mills, Amber Riley.

Produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, "The Wiz Live," is directed by Kenny Leon, and is a new adaptation of the 1975 Broadway musical "The Wiz," later made into a film starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson.
