As Britain prepare for her General Election on May 7, a teaser trailer has been released for upcoming movie 'Suffragette'.

The film centres on Pankhurst (Meryl Streep) and her campaign to secure British women the right to vote in the late 19th and early 20th century.

The movie also stars Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Whishaw and Brendan Gleeson.

Written by Abi Morgan and directed by Sarah Gavron, 'Suffragette' is released on October 30 2015.
