Who is Gideon Okeke?

I am an actor, on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - I host events. I am an actor who loves to sing, nobody knows this cause I sing in my bedroom.

What Was it Like for You Growing Up?

Growing up was very lonely for me as an only child. I didn't grow up with a silver Spoon so I wouldn't say I had everything that I wanted, but I had everything I needed. My parents sometimes went broke to get me what I needed.

Why The Shift From Biochemistry To Acting?

I started acting since when I was 6, from when I was in primary school, so it didn't come as a surprise to my parents that I chose to be an actor. Professionally, I am eight years in the business. What inspired me to go into acting? - because that was all I knew I could do.

I would concentrate in class but once the bell went for break time or drama time, Gidi just came alive. Naturally, I just made that shift, I was always in the wrong class.

Are There Similarities Between Gideon and Philip?

Acting is an extension of life, and with the character Philip Ade Williams, it is a living, breathing character in the sense that if you look down the street you will probably find one person's story who you can relate to that of Philip's character. I had to look down within myself, do my research, more or less like asking myself the questions Philip has always asked "if it were you, what would you do? " so, that is how naturally Phillip comes to Gideon.

Myself and Philip, we share a few nuances, so I steal something from him and he steals from me. Philip is a very Impatient guy while I am patient, he is a sharp dresser, you see today am trying to be stylish and that is because of Philip. We share a thing or two.

The arrogance with Philip Ade Williams comes with the job, that is what the script entails, go out and be as nasty as possible, so all I have to do is turn my arrogance up to 250 degree.

On Next Project..

My next role which I am still disusing but very excited about, is an action sport drama. It is a boxing film. We haven't seen action sport in the journals of Nigeria film, so am really excited.

Is Gideon Single, Engaged or Searching?

Gideon is very very single, not in a hurry, not under pressure, just working hard, the woman will identify herself when the time comes.

Have You Ever Had a Crush on a Co-Star?

Yes, I have worked in very close proximity with some very beautiful ladies over the past 8 years and we used the same changing room, probably seeing them half naked most of the time, all you have to do is stand and admire them, so yes, I have had crushes a few time but that is where it ends.

We want Names.

They are married by now so let us cross the crush, I haven't worked with Genevieve so let's say Genevieve, I have a crush on Genevieve, it is still alive, until I work with her.

If You Weren't an actor, What Would You Be?

(singing)If I wasn't an actor, I will probably be a singer.

YES!! Expect something from Gideon, a single, an album, expect something. Gideon is a body of work in evolution so yes expect something.
