"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" actor passes away

Powers Boothe, who is known for his roles in "Deadwood" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" has passed away.

An Emmy-winning actor, Boothe passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017, in his sleep at his Los Angeles home.

Boothe began his acting career in the 70s, and in 1980, he won an Emmy for "outstanding lead actor in a limited series" for his role in the TV movie "Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones."

Actor Powers Boothe was also known for his roles in "Sin City" and "Deadwood."
