Lights, Camera Africa!!! hosted film lovers to a cocktail at it’s opening ceremony on Thursday September 30, 2015 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
The film festival continues
The film festival has officially kicked off activities for the 2015 event.

The event kick off saw film enthusiast, directors, filmmakers, actors and creative industry professionals gather for the showcase where they also got to view 'Faaji Agba'.
Films showing today include: 'Horn Free Day', 'Once', 'Henna', 'Black Africa White Marble', 'Nollywood', 'The Curse of Medea', 'Sobukwe: A Great Soul', 'The SIM' and 'The Legacy Of Rubies'.
This year’s theme tagged ‘Future Forward’ will be screening films from all over Africa. Some of the films selected this year include ‘Finding Fela’, 'Gone Too Far' ‘Sex, Okra and Salted Butter’, 'Soko Sonko (The Market King)' and ‘Timbuktu’.
Asides from movie screenings, the festival will feature workshops, panel discussions, and seminars. In addition to these, there’ll also be literature, music and visual exhibitions during the festival. The five-day festival ends on Sunday, 4 October, 2015.
