According to a report by THR, musician Elton John is in talks for a role in the upcoming "Kingsman: The Golden Circle."

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, musician Elton John is in talks for a role in the upcoming "Kingsman: The Golden Circle."
Elton is a six time Grammy Award winner. He won the Academy Award Best Original Song for "The Lion King's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight."
His other wins include a Tony for Best Original Score for "Aida." He also appeared as himself in "The Simpsons" and "Spice World."

The sequel which is set for a June 16, 2017 release, will see Taron Egerton’s Eggsy and Mark Strong’s Merlin heading to the United States, where they’ll find an American version of their own organization.
The Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of the Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons novel of same name, was released in February 2015, and became a hit, grossing $128 million domestically and $285 million overseas.

Based upon the 2012 Icon Comics miniseries by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, 'Kingsman: The Secret Service ' tells the story of a spy organization that recruits an unrefined, but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program, just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
The 2015 film also starred Colin Firth, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong and Taron Egerton, Sofia Boutella and Sophie Cookson.
There were recent reports that Julianne Moore could play the villain in upcoming sequel. Also, a report by Deadline states that Academy Winner Halle Berry has joined the sequel as head of the CIA.
