Season 4 gets new poster, trailer [Video]

The last time we saw the Lyons, Lucious had amnesia and Anika was framed for Tariq's murder. Here's your 1st look at "Empire" Season 4, which returns in September.

Empire returns for a fourth season in September

The third season ended with a cliffhanger that saw Lucious Lyon wake up after an accident with an amnesia. The finale also saw the arrest of Anika, orchestrated by Leah.

Just like past seasons, the upcoming season will feature guest stars including Demi Moore and Forest Whitaker, but this time around, the focus will be on the Lyons.

“When we start to focus too much on guest stars we lose who it is that the fans want to watch,”  Show creator Lee Daniels says during a press tour."

“They’re obsessed with the Lyons. They’re obsessed with family. They’re obsessed with the story of Lucious and Cookie and Jamal and Andre and Hakeem.”

The new season will also see Jussie Smollett make his directorial debut, as he will helm the 14th episode of the season.
