Davido wants to bring African music to show

Are you interested in watching Davido represent the African music on "Empire?" "One episode is cool for me," he said to Taraji P Henson.

The award winning singer indicated his interest to be a part of the hit TV show while which applauds his song "How long' featuring Tinashe.

Responding to the post, Davido wrote, "Big ups  .. LET ME BRING THAT AFRICAN HEAT TO EMPIRE!! ONE EPISODE IS COOL FOR ME LOL."

The HKN, DMW  boss and Sony RCA records artist dropped  a 5-track EP a couple weeks back with production credits from ShizziSpellz,Kiddominant and more.

The pop singer made his acting debut in the 2015 movie, "John Zerebe," which starred him alongside Gloria Young, Ikey Ojeogwu, Kanfui Danku, Emma Blaq and Mimi Orjiekwe.

"Empire" which centers around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, has featured numerous singers as guests on show.

Musicians that have featured on the show since its debut include Alicia Keys, Ludacris, French Montana, Mariah Carey, Estelle, Mary J Blige, Patti LaBelle and Birdman.
