While it doesn't completely depict everything that happens in a relationship, it, however, focuses on the "what goes around comes around" common belief and the "all men cheat" platitude. More interestingly, it doesn't make the cheating part a gender thing.
"Cliche" is a short film that follows John Smith and Elizabeth Adams who meet in a very 'cliche' setting. They kick off a relationship, and from long distance to everything that happens in a typical relationship, they overcome and are making plans to get married.
They are the "perfect couple" who seem to be so much in love, except for the fact that everything isn't what it seems to be.

Starring Bayray McNwizu, Bayo Alawiye, Kunle Remi and Promisano, the short film doesn't try to be complicated. It tells its story in a simple way that makes it simple, easy to follow and understand.
The film does contain good editing techniques, lighting and montages, that further aids its continuous flow.
"Cliche" doesn't keep you at the edge of your seat, it simply takes you on a short interesting ride.
The short film earned Bayray McNwizu a best actress win at the 2016 Inshort Film Festival.
