Imoh Umoren's new movie "Child of Mud" is dedicated to homeless kids who are made outcasts by their families.
The movie follows the story of Emem and her blind brother Miracle, who are chased out of the house by their misguided Aunt, and they go in search of a miracle.
The movie is inspired by the number of street kids in Nigeria, who are either hawking on the streets or forced to leave home.
Filmed in Lagos and Abeokuta, the movie features Liz Benson Ameye, Matilda Obaseki, Big Brother Naija's Bassey among others.
"Children of Mud" is written by Imoh Umoren and is a collaborative effort between Rucksack Production and Grand Explorers with Ify Egbera and Dr. Wale Boje as producers.
Umoren is also working on a TV series which stars Ramsey Nouah and Segun Arinze.
