Actress is the latest villain in "Fast and Furious 8"

Following her exceptional performance as 'Furiousa' in "Mad Max: Fury Road," Charlize Theron has officially joined play a villain in upcoming "Furious 8."

According to the franchise's official Twitter account, Theron is joining as the “greatest adversary ever.”

Popular for his role as Tormund Giantsbane on "Game of Thrones," Kristofer Hivju recently joined "Fast 8" as a henchman to the film's villain.

Producer and co-creator of the recording breaking franchise, Vin Diesel, recently revealed the release dates for the 9th and 10th installments as April 19, 2019 and  April 2, 2021 respectively.

'Furious 8' which will debut  April 14, 2017, will be directed by 'Straight Outta Compton' director, F. Gary Gray.

which was released April 2015, brought in over $1.5bn in the global box office, contributing to Universal Studio's 2015 record breaking achievement.

Directed by James Wan, 'Furious 7' stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham and Ludacris.
