On her mum's reaction;

"My mum was once a supermodel, so she actually understood my game plan. Although before entering into the house, I explained to her.

"I told her, mummy, this is what I wanna do. At first she was like, 'this is Nigeria, I don't think they would understand.' That she, she understands, but what about Nigerians? that this is not Ghana or Liberia where they can take it as fun.

"I had to make her to understand that this is Big Brother Naija, and everything that happens in the house is all about a game.

"Well, she was telling me that people have been calling her and telling her 'is it true that Gifty did this.' As a mother, she had to briefly explain some of the things that happened in the house."

On Soma's feelings being genuine along the line;

"You see, he said 'loved.' I believe that whatever I shared with Soma was actually based on a game plan. He definitely played games with me, so, I played games with him. I feel like Soma is still my friend. Just normal casual friend, I can't hate him. I like him as a friend, and he is a nice person. But based on relationship, love? Nah. He is not my type of guy. That's it."
