Set to hold on Saturday, June 11, 2016, the awards ceremony is considered one of  Africa's biggest Movie awards.

We here at Pulse have put together five things we would love to see tomorrow.

1. Daring Fashion

AMAA has always been popular for beautiful, classy and normal red carpet looks. We look forward to seeing classy and risky.

That sort of fashion that would leave people talking for months. We also won't mind the terribly risky ones - everyone deserves a good laugh once in a while.

2. The right nominees emerging winners

Even with the Oscars and Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, there were nominees we didn't understand how they made it to the list. The AMAA nomination list is not left out with the surprising nominees syndrome.

We look forward to having the right movies, actors and producers emerge winners.

3. Better stage performances

Acts like Patoranking, Burna Boy, Duncan Mighty, Tekno, Phyno, Psquare and Daddy Showkey have been announced as performers for the night. We expect them to bring on their A-Game with a well rehearsed and interesting performances.

4. A previously unknown breakout

We're excited to see Kunle Afolayan, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Chioma Chukwuka and every other big name, but it's always nice to have someone new in the mix.

5. A more organized event and post event

We are not going to pretend like we have all forgotten how celebrities like Tunde Kelani, Rachel Oniga, Odunlade Adekola, Sadiq Daba among others were left stranded in South Africa in 2015.

From the presenters to the whole awards night, we look forward to an event that proves that AMAA is truly the second 'Academy awards after the Oscars.'

Set to hold on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Dr. Obi Wali Event Centre, Port-Harcourt, the awards night will be hosted by Mike Ezuruonye, Chris Attoh, and Kgopedia Lioane.
