Abraham Attah "Beasts of no Nation" actor joins reboot of "Spider-Man"

Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah who played Agu in "Beasts of No Nation," is the latest addition to the 2017 Marvel superhero film “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

According to several reports, Sony Pictures has added Abraham Attah to cast of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in a mystery role.

Popular for his lead role in Cary Fukanaga’s “Beasts of No Nation,” the 15-year-old will star in the movie alongside Tom Holland  as Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei as "Aunt May,"  and Robert Downey Jnr as Iron Man.

Attah made his acting debut in the Cary Fukunaga film as Agu,  a young boy from an unnamed African country who saw his family slaughtered amid a sudden outbreak of violence, and finds himself orphaned.

Attah was a presenter at the 2016 Academy Awards alongside “Room’s” actor, Jacob Tremblay.
