Gbenro Ajibade, Funmi Iyanda, others attend premiere of the much anticipated movie 'A Place in the Stars'.

The much anticipated movie from Steve Gakus, 'A Place in the Stars' finally had its world premiere on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Landmark Centre, Plot 3 & 4 Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island Annex, Lagos.

Produced and directed by Steve Gakus, 'A Place in the Stars' features Gideon Okeke, Matilda Obaseki, Segun Arinze, Dejumo Lewis, Yemi Blaq, Femi Branch amongst others.

It was a night of glitz and glamour as people gathered to watch the movie which took 6 years to be produced. The premiere had Gbenro Ajibade, Gideon Okeke, Femi Jacobs, Obumnene Akunyili - Dora Akunyili's son, Funmi Iyanda, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Gideon Okeke's mum, Segun Arinze, Julia Arinze, amongst others in attendance.

The night had Jeremiah Gyang perform the official soundtrack of movie on stage, the guest were also enlightened on how to be a part of the #APlaceinthestars social media campaign.

Inspired by the tenure of the late Dora Akuniyi, A Place in the Stars tells the story of a young lawyer with a case and a client that leaves him professionally conflicted.
