Close your windows and lock your doors because this horrifying cobra just broke into a house

Safe to say you'll be wide awake after watching this and will probably not sleep for the next 24 to 72 hours.

cobra home invasion

Does the latter sound good? Good news, ABC News so thoughtfully posted a horrific video on their Twitter this morning of a gigantic cobra literally breaking into a house that will do just the trick.

Safe to say you'll be wide awake after watching this and will probably not sleep for the next 24 to 72 hours. You're welcome!

According to the post, the video was taken by a man in Malaysia, and the building is an actual private residence. So now snakes are apparently smart enough to break into houses. The massive cobra literally crawls up a doorframe to help pull itself into the open window, and nowhere is safe now. The reaction on Twitter was, of course, on point.

This video raises a few questions. Such as why, oh why, do cobras suddenly want to crawl into our homes with such purpose? Why is there a man with a camera so close to the snake?

Why is he just watching a living nightmare unfold in front of his eyes rather than, oh, running for his life?

(Or, if you want to beat this snake at its own game, then try this workout that slithers into your heart, wraps around your whole body, and squeezes out body fat to change your physique: our Metaconda, fat-loss workout.)

Who else is simultaneously locking all doors and windows and crossing Malaysia off their travel bucket list?
