The Code of Conduct Tribunal has adjourned Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s trial to November 5 and 6, 2015.

Saraki appeared before the court today, October 21, to face charges of asset declaration fraud.

The case was adjourned by the court after the Senate President’s lawyers requested an adjournment in anticipation of a Court of Appeal ruling on the matter.
The Appeal Court had, on October 19, adjourned Saraki’s case indefinitely.

Meanwhile, the Senate President was said to have been accompanied to the tribunal by 81 Senators.
