Repair of Abuja airport runway 57.5% completed, says Sirika

The Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has said the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja runway repair is 57. 5 per cent completed. He insisted the April 19 reopening date is achievable.

Senate okays electronic voting, card reader for INEC

In a fresh amendment to the Electoral Act, the Senate has introduced the use of electronic voting in elections.Section 52 (2) of the amendment passed by the Senate yesterday reads: “The commission shall adopt electronic voting in all elections or any other method of voting as may be determined by the commission from time to time.”

FG moves to stop rejection of Nigerian food produce at global markets

The Federal Government is working to stop the rejection of Nigerian food produce at the international market.Towards this, a draft Food Safety and Quality Bill has been developed and would soon be sent to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for approval and to the National Assembly to be passed as an Act of parliament.
