DSS denies Radio Biafra boss access to lawyer, physician

The Magistrate’s Court,Wuse 11, sitting in Abuja, did not authorize his release because he has not met the bail conditions.

 

Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kanu, who was granted bail on Monday, is yet to regain his freedom.

The Magistrate’s Court,Wuse 11, sitting in Abuja, did not authorize his release because he has not met the bail conditions.

The separatist leader’s lawyer, Mr. Egechukwu Obetta, confirmed to Vanguard on Wednesday, October 21, that Kanu is still being detained.

According to him, the Department of State Service, DSS, on Tuesday, denied Kanu access to his lawyer and physician.

“The filing of paper work in line with his bail condition is in progress”, Obetta added.
