Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia reportedly owns $900K in foreign banks

The EFCC has reportedly uncovered how Federal High Court Judge, Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia runs foreign accounts with over $900K in them.

In a fresh report by SaharaReporters, EFCC sources disclosed that Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia had wired at least $900,000 to foreign banks between 2014-2016.

It was reported that following a thorough search of the Lagos home of the Federal High Court judge, several documents of property acquisitions and money transfers to foreign banks were recovered by the men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia was, however, granted bail on Saturday evening, October 22, 2016 after she had been grilled by the men of the EFCC.

The reports further claimed that the EFCC found documents showing the judge had recently bought a property on Park Avenue in Ikoyi.

Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia is one of the eight judges currently under investigation by the EFCC for various issues bothering on corruption.
