Residents troop out to celebrate Gov Dickson's Supreme Court victory
The Supreme Court had earlier upheld Dickson's victory but did not give reasons Sylva's appeal was thrown out.

The seven-man panel of the apex court had earlier dismissed the appeal filed against Dickson by Timipre Sylva, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last governorship election in the state.
The panel headed by Justice Tanko Muhammad upheld Dickson's victory but did not give reasons Sylva's appeal was thrown out.

Justice Mohammed, however, said details of the judgement will be given on November 18.
