The plaintiff's suit, supported by an 18-paragraph affidavit' contented that there was a valid judgment ousting Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu from office.

He further argued that the said judgment by Justice Okon Abang ordered INEC to issue Dr Samson Ogah with a certificate of return.

He said that the issuance of the certificate qualified Ogah to be sworn-in as governor of Abia.

Ozurumba said further release of funds from the federation accounts to Abia would not be in the interest of the state because accountability and transparency of the funds would not be ensured.
