President 'will soon return home', says Dalung

The President has been away in London on medical leave since May 7, leaving Yemi Osinbajo in charge.

The minister revealed this on his Facebook page on Friday June 23, 2017, writing, "Our God answers prayers, Mr President will soon return home, In Sha Allah. I stand with Buhari."

The President left Nigeria on May 7 to seek medical help in London after his health deteriorated on his return after his first trip there on January 19 that lasted till March 10.

There have been no public statements or appearances from the President since he left, and there are no public details on the state of his health.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been acting in the role of Commander in Chief since then.
