The girl, under the pseudonym  Sa’a, made the plea during the Global Education and Skills Forum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

"These girls are human beings, not something that we can forget about," BBC quotes her as saying.

"How would you feel if your daughter or wife was missing? Not one day or two, but three years. It’s very painful.

"I remember those girls, but their dreams are now no more," she said.

Recalling her escape, Sa’a said she jumped out of the back of a truck and escaped with a friend after the terrorists had captured them.

According to her, they hid overnight until a shepherd helped them to a safe place.

"I thought I was going to die that night," Sa’a recounted.

On April 14-15, 2014, over 270 girls were abducted from Chibok secondary school, in Borno state.

The Federal Government, however, was able to secure the release of 21 of the girls in October 2016, but about 195 of them are still not accounted for.
