Reports also say members of staff were robbed at gun point and dispossessed of their belongings while the incident lasted.

The youths who were armed with all kinds of dangerous weapons, reportedly shot sporadically in the air.

The armed members of the Ijaw group who carried out the evil act were protesting the alleged suspension of  the IYC President and spokesman, Udengs Eradiri and Eric Omare respectively.

Punch reports that six out of the ten members of the IYC executive committee accused Eradiri and Omare of financial misappropriation.

The incident was brought under control by men of the anti-riot police force, reports say.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce is currently in the eye of the storm, as his businesses have been shut down over an N11b debt.

The Asset Management Corporation Of Nigeria (AMCON)  shut down the Silverbird Galleria after they got a court order from Federal High Court in Lagos.
