Minister says FG has dumped grazing reserves idea

The minister said states that are not in support of the establishment of grazing reserves will not be forced.

Ogbeh made this revelation on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Palace of the Lamido Adamawa.

Ogbeh also called on Nigerians not to let religious and ethnic sentiments cloud their judgement.

He said “The business of government is to find equitable solution to the problem as such the government will not force any state to provide grazing land.”

Audu Ogbeh had earlier announced that Plateau, Kaduna, Kano, Gombe, Katsina, Taraba, Niger, Adamawa, Jigawa, Sokoto and the FCT  donated a total of 55,000 hectares of land for Fulani herdsmen to graze.
