An overwhelming public opinion supports these, especially the latter.
One would expect that everyone already got that memo already, right?
It appears not.
Some guys still attend other people’s ceremonies and instead of just celebrating the couple and enjoying the free jollof and chicken on offer, they try to propose and share some of the day’s shine with the bride and groom.
Maybe if these people told the couples first and they’re cool with it, it could be permissible. Sadly, people who do these things rarely ask for permission.
[No available link text]For example, earlier today, September 4 2017, a Twitter user tweets of how some man tried to propose at another person’s wedding and got booted out by the security guys.
As expected, the tweet has gone somewhat viral as that’s a reaction many people can relate with.

A lot of people don’t want anyone stealing their shine and turning half of their wedding venue to an engagement party.
Apart from instructing the security guys to throw out anyone who tries to pull such stunt at a wedding ceremony, what other thing can you do to deter such occurrence?
You could take a number of petty actions like dress in white to their own wedding, or you could, like a certain Twitter user, go into labour at their wedding.
You also could cancel your friendship with them effective immediately or you could just totally let it go.
What would you do to a guy [or babe] that proposes at your wedding?
