Another Hollywood actress who also ditched the weekend wedding tradition is Ashley Tinsdale. "The 8th was our anniversary so I wanted to land on an 8th, and [thankfully] it landed on a Monday in September," she told Ryan Seacrest after marrying Christopher French on September 8, 2014.
Her second reason for her Monday nuptial was in order to escape prying eyes. "I figured out like, 'Oh, I don't think anybody would figure this one out,' and that was to protect the privacy of it."
