4-yr-old cancer patient 'marries' her favourite nurse

Four-yr-old Abby Sayles became attached to one of her nurses at the treatment centre, so much that she told her mother that she looked forward to marrying him at her next appointment

Isn't this the sweeting thing you've ever seen?

Four-yr-old Abby Sayles who is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is being treated at the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancers in Albany, New York, became attached to one of her nurses at the treatment centre, so much that she told her mother that she looked forward to marrying him at her next appointment.

Abby's mother sent a text to her daughter's favorite nurse, Matt Hickling, telling him about her little girl's plan. He totally agreed with it, organising a fake wedding ceremony with the rest of the hospital staff.

The little girl was dressed up in a pretty white gown, veil and bouquet while her favorite nurse wore a tuxedo t-shirt, and they sealed the deal with ring pops as one of the doctors officiated. Afterwards, he pushed his patient down the hall in a "just married" car, and she threw a cake in his face.

"This day will hopefully be one our patient and her family can always look back on and smile when days are tough! I know I will!" Matt wrote in a Facebook post.
