Conflicts in relationships help build a stronger bond, if handled properly.
Here are some tips that will help you to resolve any conflict that may arise in your relationship.
1. Have it at the back of your mind that both of you are on the same team, and that you want the best for each other.
2. Address the issue and not the person. Name calling and all sort of derogatory statements should be avoided. Disagreements should not be taken personal.
3. Do not try to win the war and lose your partner. Don’t always try to be correct. Accept your faults.
4. Be quick to apologise, even when you are not wrong.
5. Let your partner know that you love them at intervals, during the discussion.
6. Do not bring up past issues.
7. Do not raise your voice.
