Is it stupid to think your partner can never cheat on you?
Completely trusting your partner and believing totally in their loyalty, is it a wise move or a dumb one?

The issue of trust and cheating in relationships has been touched over and over again and is still being talked about.
Over the weekend, a discussion began on the Internet between women when one of them claimed that every person, man or woman, is capable of cheating.
Daily Mail reports that a user on Mumsnet,Amberlyn, set the discussion in motion on the platform when she said: “People who are absolutely certain their other halves won't ever cheat are deluding themselves.”
“Some never do. But there are some sanctimonious people on Mumsnet who are so f****** certain that their other halves won't cheat, it sets my teeth on edge.”
Mumsnet is one of the UK's largest websites for parents; so, before long the statement got enough comments and caused a stir when over 280 people joined in the thread.
Some believe that the statement is totally wrong with one woman particularly saying “my husband absolutely loves… me and would never do anything to upset me or disrespect me and has proven this time and time again.”
A user then comes out to use her experience to justify Amberlyn’s comments.
Her husband of 30 years totally blindsided her when he walked out of the marriage and simply said: “People change. We only see the parts of them they permit us to see.”
So we ask, what do you think about these comments?
Is it right to completely trust your partner, or is it a sign of stupidity and delusion to do so?
