The suitor had broken into the girl's house at the Multan’s Sedan Wali Khoi area of Pakistan, late at night and splashed acid on her face while she was asleep.
It was gathered that the girl suffered severe burns as a result of the incident.

Doctors at the hospital where the girl was admitted said she suffered 25 per cent burns but her condition was out of danger, local news reports.
The spurned suitor who has since been arrested by the police was identified as Abdul Jabbar.
