With 230 friends in attendance, the couple's marriage was a Double Guinness World Record, beating 'Most ushers to one groom', (previously at 47), and 'Most bridesmaids to one bride', (which was 126 before).
Amy Ewing and her groom, Radio DJ Alex Simmons broke two world records after tying the knot with 130 bridesmaids and 100 ushers at Rudding Park in, Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
With 230 friends in attendance, the couple's marriage was a Double Guinness World Record, beating 'Most ushers to one groom', (previously at 47), and 'Most bridesmaids to one bride', (which was 126 before). The ceremony was held on February 22, 2015.
Both records which are the first to be attempted at the same wedding and in the UK, have been lodged and approved by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The bride, a 26-year-old law student and her groom, 32, won the £110,000 wedding in a competition.
In order for them to qualify for the World Records, the couple had to know all their wedding party, and couldn't just have random guests.
The bride called in favours from girlfriends all over the world. The groomsmen included rugby players, Danny Kirmond and Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
Everything they needed for the wedding was donated by local companies, including 130 identical bridesmaid dresses worth £35,000 and men's suits worth £13,000.
The newlyweds who are from Leeds, West Yorks, have four children between them from previous relationships and are expecting the first child of their own.
They met at a charity event in 2014 and fell in love, planning to marry at the end of 2015.
The couple came across a competition on Facebook which was run by Abbi Lewis, a bridal shop owner, who wanted to pull off a record-breaking wedding and needed a real couple to take part in it.
Ewing and Simmons had initially planned to have a small wedding, but a determined Lewis managed to put the huge event together in just five months.
"I wouldn't say I had to convince Amy but I hadn't known her long. When we entered the competition we weren't even engaged, " said the groom.
"We knew we had to take the opportunity. There is no way with kids we would have been able to afford this ourselves.
"This had made our dreams come true. The fact we can have everyone there is amazing."
Before their double record breaking wedding, previously, the most ushers stood at 47, a record set by Arulanantham Suresh Joachim at a wedding in September 2003 in Canada, while the most bridesmaids was set in November 2013 in Sri Lanka by Champika Shirani Siriwardana, with 126.
