How do you ask a woman you've been with from your days as a university undergraduate to spend the rest of her life with you?

You organise an elaborate, fake birthday party which is actually a proposal party and then seal it off with a car.

That's exactly what Efe did.

Efe had met his fiance, Judith in 100 level as students of Delta State University, Abraka.

According to Efe, ‘one day, I was sitting outside my hostel, and I saw this pretty girl walking alone to get something, I approached her and I guess you know the rest.’

Fast-forward 2016, Efe decided to pop the question and to do this, he waited till Judith returned to Nigeria from her studies abroad then invited her for a supposed friend's all-white birthday party.

Not quite.

It was infact a surprise proposal party where Judith was shown a video that was purportedly about a humanitarian cause dear to the "celebrant's" heart, but turned out to be a video showing important details about the couple such as their favorite spot in school and the exact location they met.

The video also featured heartwarming and funny interviews with her loved ones, and at the end of it, there were instructions to follow the lead.

Judith was then led outside to the ultimate romantic proposal moment.

So guys, what do you think of elaborate proposals? Would you rather have a fancy public proposal or a private romantic one?
