The couple whose wedding has been tagged 'the first Instagram wedding' met on the social media platform and got engaged one month after in May
Prince Philip’s godson, Ashley Hicks is not your conventional British groom and he has proof to back it up.
The 52-year-old son of late designer David Hicks and second cousin of Prince Charles, married 34-yr-old fashionista, Kata de Solis, at his home is Oxfordshire.
The couple whose wedding has been tagged 'the first Instagram wedding' met on the social media platform and got engaged one month after in May.
Hicks and Solis were introduced online by Donald Robertson, who was the couple's best man.
"We would like to thank Instagram for what we believe is the first superposh hook-up," Hicks said.
The bride wore bunny ears while the groom donned a fancy-dress chicken’s head.
The wedding was attended by Hicks’s daughters from his first marriage to 54-yr-old designer Allegra - Angelica and Ambrosia, his mother, Lady Pamela Hicks, and sister India - who was a bridesmaid at Lady Diana’s wedding to Charles in 1981.
Other guests included Game Of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie and iconic shoe designer Christian Louboutin.
